As a speaker at a two-day international conference in Yerevan focusing on comprehensive security and resiliency, RSC Director Richard Giragosian presented an analysis of the role of the private sector in security and defense on 7 June 2024.

As part of our regular series of monthly briefings, the Regional Studies Center (RSC) convened a briefing on 27 May to assess recent developments in Armenia and the wider South Caucasus region.  The Ambassadors from Brazil and Canada, as well as diplomatic staff from the Embassies of Argentina, Austria, Czechia, the European Delegation, France, Poland, Serbia and Switzerland, as well as officials from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), and the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) also attended.

RSC Director Richard Giragosian was invited to speak at a meeting in Yerevan on 24 May of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation’s (KAS) meeting of the alumni of the KAS “Leadership Academy Armenia” project, in collaboration with the Eduardo Frei Foundation.

In an interview with Astghik Sargsyan for the 1in.am media outlet, RSC Director Richard Giragosian assessed the course of the Armenian-Azerbaijani peace process, the 10 May foreign ministerial meeting in Kazakhstan and other recent developments.  Conducted on 3 May, the interview aired on 8 May.
