In a special “Year in Review” analytical briefing, the Regional Studies Center (RSC) provided an assessment of developments and trends in Armenia and the South Caucasus region through 2025.

In a live interview with Poland’s “Talking with TVP World” news program aired on 13 December 2025, RSC Director Richard Giragosian returned as a guest commentator.  With host Sascha Fahrbach, the news program focused on developments in Georgia and was entitled, “Abkhazia and South Ossetia at the heart of the Russia–Georgia deadlock.”

In a commentary published on 12 December in “The National” newspaper in the UAE, RSC Director Richard Giragosian offered an analysis of the wider ramifications from the Armenia-Azerbaijan diplomatic breakthrough, with a specific focus on the impact on Iran.

The Regional Studies Center (RSC) released an 11-page RSC Policy Report on 5 December 2025 written by RSC Fellow Ketevan Rokva, entitled “The Emergence of New Asia–Europe Corridors. Bypassing Russia and Diminishing Russia’s Regional Influence,” assessing the broader implications of developments in connectivity and corridors in Eurasia.
